The CPWD Specifications being published by CPWD from time to time are very comprehensive and useful in the execution of works and are used as guides by a number of Engineering Departments, Public Sector Undertakings, Architects, and Builders.
The Rates taken in the Delhi Schedule of Rates (E&M) 2023 are indicative and actual rates shall be governed by market forces. Further, its use by Government Departments, PSUs, Private bodies, and individuals shall be at their own risk and discretion. CPWD shall not be responsible for any ambiguity, discrepancy, dispute, or financial loss arising directly or indirectly by using or following items of DSR (E&M) 2022 by such Government Departments/PSUs/Private Bodies/Individuals.
CPWD Rate Analysis 2023
The Delhi Schedule of Rates (E&M) 2022 is a revision of the Delhi Schedule of Rates (E&M) 2018 and takes into account the increased cost of labor, the changes in material cost, and the effect of GST on Works Contracts. In addition, chapters for Wet Riser and Sprinkler System and BEE 5 Star Rated Ceiling Fan with Brushless Direct Current (BLDC) Motor have also been added.
The DSR (E&M) 2022 is the revised edition of DSR (E&M) 2018 and combines the Schedule of Rates for Electrical Works Part-1 Internal, Part-II External, few items of Plumbing, Ducting, AHUS of HVAC Works, Fire Detection, and Alarm System, Wet riser and Sprinkler System and BEE 5 Star Rated Ceiling Fan With Brush Les Direct Current (BLDC) Motor.
This Schedule of Rates is based on the current market rates of materials (without any taxes etc.) in Delhi collected during Jan-Mar 2022 and minimum wage rates issued by Govt. of India for Delhi w.e.f. 01-04-2022.
